Soup To Nuts
Procare Software version 10 has recently added the ability to group and sort information on child care software reports such as roll call sheets and sign in sheets. For instance you may wish to have an alphabetical list of all children in your daycare center or print separate pages for each classroom.

My Story Guidelines & Frequent Questions

How do I get started?

Begin with the basics:
    * Your name, position and how long you’ve been using ProCare
    * The name and address of your child care center, phone number, email and web site

What else should I say?

Just a few sentences about you and your child care business. You can say most anything you like but you may wish to include things like: why you chose to start a center, what aspect of your center you are most proud of, what is your child care philosophy, what do the children like best about it, and so forth.

How do you find ProCare helpful?

Add a sentence or two about how you use ProCare, or how it has helped some aspect of center management, or perhaps a particularly good experience you’ve had with your Software Consultant or the ProCare Technical Support Team.

What services does your center offer?

Briefly describe the types of services you offer like: infants, toddlers, preschool, after school care and summer camp. Be sure to mention any special programs or services of which you are especially proud or that make your center unique.

Attach a photo:

If you’d like you may email a photo to have included with your story. The photo could be of your building, playground, art room, or whatever you’d like to share. The best photos (and those that others will find most interesting) typically include children. Perhaps kids at play, or in front of a garden, or standing next to a sign for your center. If you don’t have a photo that suits you that’s okay. We may include a generic picture of children just to liven up the page a little.

Will my story or photo be edited?

Yes, in most cases your submission will be edited for spelling, clarity and length. We don’t expect what you write to be a literary masterpiece so don’t worry – we’ll make sure your center is presented in a positive light. Photos may be cropped, edited for size, or adjusted for light/dark exposure. We also reserve the right to decline a listing or photo.

Will you link to my web site?

Yes. If you include a web address for your center it will be included in the story with a link. We’ll also provide you with a link to your “MyStory” page so you may choose to link to it from your site if you would like to. If you don’t have a web site that's okay too – we will still publish your MyStory page on our site.

Hello all!

We’re working on a new section for our website and I think you all may be able to help us! We would like to get pictures of our software and hardware in action!

We’re looking for photo-ops of the following:

    * Parents or employees checking their children in/out on our new Procare Time Clock Touch or Procare Touchscreens
    * The Director at the computer using Procare.
    * And anything else you think is creative, we want any and all!

Any Procare User who chooses to send us pictures will be entered into a contest to win a $50 gift certificate from Steve Spangler Science (http://www.stevespanglerscience.com/category/4-5-years).

Simply email your pictures to community@procaresoftware.com or upload the pictures to the new group "Procare Pictures Contest".

This contest will be open until the end of December to allow you enough time to take the pictures and get them uploaded or emailed.

If you have any questions, please let me know!

Thanks and good luck!

Winner of the Logo Contest!
Sorry for the delay in announcing the winner to this great contest! I've been out sick for a while. Tis the season! ( :

The winner of the "My Logo is SOOOOO Bad Contest" is Tammy Hilliard of the First Baptist Preschool in Pinellas Park, Florida. Tammy and her center have been Procare users since 2000, and it is our great honor to be able to design their new logo!
